Saturdays, 9:00am to 4:00pm.
Find a bargain or three at our legendary Secondhand Saturdays, when we open the doors to our reuse shop to make your thrifting dreams come true.
Every week we restock our giant op shop with fresh finds, including furniture, toys and homewares and make these available to the public at low prices. We want to make sure everyone in our local community has access to clothing and furniture they can afford, so we keep our prices as low as we can. Keep an out for our fill-a-bag sales.
Saturday 11 April, 11:00am to 1:00pm
Wondering what to do with your old holey socks? Join us for a fun tawashi sponge making workshop where you can turn old socks into something useful.
Tawashi is a scrubbing dish sponge traditionally made with natural fibers such as palm. Emma Wingrove will show you how using old socks is a great way to give them a second life.
To secure your spot for this free workshop email -reuse@wairauzerowaste.nz
If you don't have any old socks, we've got plenty so register anyway. Stay up to date on our Facebook event group.

School holiday and weekday bike workshops for teens. Learn to fix bikes in the Got to Get Out workshop at the back of our Porana Road warehouse.
If you’re 14 and up, can already ride a bike confidently, and you’re curious about learning to fix bikes, talk to Rob about joining his workshop as a volunteer.
